Deadline extended: Maker Faire Rome is calling all students and teachers!
The event, to be held in Rome at Fiera di Roma from 14 through 16 October 2016, is once again offering to the secondary school students (14-18 years of age) the possibility for concrete and direct dialogue with leading Makers from around the world, in order to share ideas, proposals, and fun. "Fostering progress by sharing ideas" is in fact the core of MFR.
By taking part in the Call, schools and classes will be able to promote the best and most innovative projects developed by the students. The Call for Schools is open to educational institutions belonging to the countries of the European Union. Participation is free of charge! The deadline for submitting proposals is June 15, 2016. A jury will pick 55 of the most innovative projects which will be hosted during Maker Faire Rome 2016 inside an area dedicated entirely to schools.
Maker Faire Rome offers great visibility, plenty of contacts and tons of fun. All participating projects will be displayed on the Event web site, and Maker Faire Rome press & media team will introduce them to national and international newspapers, radio and television.
What does MFR expect from you? Creativity, passion, ingenuity and inventive work and… your project created on school desks!
